Ingredients

  • 1012 large jalapeños

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • 1012 slices thin-cut bacon

  • Toothpicks (to secure bacon)


Instructions

  • Prep the Jalapeños
  • Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes (leave some for more heat if desired).
  • Make the Filling
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  • Stuff the Peppers
  • Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  • Wrap with Bacon
  • Wrap each filled jalapeño with a slice of bacon. Use toothpicks to secure if needed.
  • Smoke the Poppers
  • Preheat smoker to 225°F (107°C). Arrange poppers on the grate and smoke for 60–90 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and jalapeños are tender.
  • Serve
  • Let cool slightly. Serve with ranch, BBQ sauce, or your favorite dip.
